We have been frequent day visitors to Guadalest over the years and have always dreamed of staying at Cases Noves. We managed to secure a booking for September of 2015, and loved it so much we are staying again this year. We are already looking forward to the famous Saturday Tapas on our visit this year! I would heartily re-iterate the deserved praise that has been showered upon Toni and Sofie by previous guests. They really are the perfect hosts and make a stay at Cases Noves fantastic with their friendliness and professionalism. From the moment one arrives at Cases Noves there is a feeling of serenity and relaxation, the beautiful and simple stylish décor of the house and rooms perfectly complimenting the stunning natural beauty of the Guadalest valley and Castle. We stayed in the Aitana room, which although the smaller of the rooms we were particularly keen to have due to the lovely balcony window which afforded an absolutely stunning view of Guadalest. Waking up to that beautiful view is something very special which we will never forget. There was a thunderstorm on our second night and we loved watching the dramatic sky from the safety of our balcony – it felt like a scene from Lord of the Rings! The quality and quantity of food on offer at Cases Noves really is incredible. The breakfast especially is out of this world!! We loved the idea of having the use of the ipad too – a fantastic idea and so convenient to be able to use it to choose your dinner options. There is also a well-stocked honesty bar which was great for enjoying a nightcap. When staying at Cases Noves you are able to use the lovely Olympic sized pool which belongs to the community, it is an oasis on a hot day and well worth the walk down the steep slope to reach it. There is a small friendly bar/café at the pool which is great for a cool drink after a few laps! In addition to the treasures to be found in Guadalest, Cases Noves is a superb base from which to explore – the pretty village of Polop is well worth a visit, the Fonts of Algar are close by, and we also enjoyed a superb wine-tasting afternoon organised by Toni at the Enrique Mendoza winery. Cases Noves and its hosts truly deserve the fantastic reviews that they receive. Very highly recommended!!
