Whilst I've always taken online reviews with a pinch of salt, this is one of the very few places I've ever been where reality not just meets, but very much exceeds expectation. Our plane was delayed from Gatwick, and we ended up arriving at Cases Novas at 2.30am. Not withstanding the fact we'd rocked up in the early hours of the morning, Toni greeted us at the door in his pyjamas like long lost friends, and that set the scene for things to come. Everything about this place is fabulous, from the far reaching bedroom views all the way down to the coast, to the 5 course local produce breakfasts, we were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The 12 course tapas night on Saturday was particularly excellent, with a number of the courses being (in my opinion) Michelin quality (goats cheese ice cream was a particular revelation). The rooms themselves could be taken from the very best hotels, with wooden beams, 42" television (complete with personal iPad from which you can order your evening meal), luxurious bathrooms and sumptuously large and comfortable beds. Whilst rare that my wife and I visit the same place twice, I can say with absolute certainty that we'll be back. Until the next time...
